I know you used the remote option but how did you wire it up under your hood for power to the lights? Also, I clicked the link above which eventually ended up at a paypal page with no amount. Is there a way to contact the builder? To ask questions?

That is the light bar I got. It comes with a small map showing you how to wire it. Essentially you plug the wires in to eachother than ground the black and red to the connections they use for the stock witing. Red goes on the battery, black just on a bolt just to the right of the battery. I only used the remote so the switch wiring was not used.

Here’s what it looks like wired:

I dunno, sometime I think my taco may be closer to K.A.R.R. than K.I.T.T. Apologies if you never watched the show and don't get the reference....

I saw this on the Toyota Tacoma Enthusiasts Facebook page. Guy said he made it himself, unfortunately he didn’t say how he made it.

That is pretty awesome! Shouldnt it be backwards so it reads left to right in the person in front of you rear view mirror? Haha.

Is there a special way to get the wiring through the firewall? I’ve seen one video go through the side of the rubber housing all the wires. Help needed. Thanks

    Very sweet scoop lights !!!!!!!!!

What did you find out about this?

I’ve gotta install a light bar and ditches.

Wasn’t sure the best method for working through the firewall.

It was too tight to get into the opening with all the wires so I went in from the side of the rubber gasket thing. Followed CaliRaised YouTube video on installing their light bar.
