I was just wanting to know if it's suppose to always come on even when my keys aren't even in my truck or is it cause I have it wired that way ?

Umm if you wired it then shouldn't you know this question yourself? lol

To answer you though, if you have the light bar wired direct from battery to relay to switch then your switch will be the only thing to manipulate the lightbar on/off. If you have the switch or relay wired so that when the key is off the 12v supply is killed then your light bar will turn off with the truck and also with the switch when the truck is running or key is to the acc/on position - pending how you wired it.

Does it come on by itself or only when you push the button? Either way, it means it is wired to 12v constant. So key on or key in the house, if the button is pushed it will turn on. Normal. However, if you mean you are sitting in your living room and the bar turns on, you have one of four problems.
    1. Your relay got water in it and the contacts are corroded and can randomly activate (common issue when people with aftermarket horn relays have them activate randomly).
    2. Someone is messing with you and flipping them on
    3. You have them wired to a remote controlled switch
    4. You have a ghost that likes to play jokes

    Oh boy...

How do you have it wired???

Did you tap into any existing wiring or use a harness that was included with it?

We need to know and see pics to help you diagnose... :anonymous:

You wired you LED to a circuit that is parallel to the gas leak check the vehicle does after shut down. The leak check test is random.
