Super clean build man. Similar setup that I was running on my 2nd gen and it worked great.

Sweet setup, love those sleek LP9s behind the grill. Also those amber pop on the white.

Thanks Brandon, gotta make due until I can get a pair of LP6 up front. :D
I will say I really appreciate the BD flexibility, I've swapped between combo clear, combo yellow, spot and yellow covers, and rock guards.. half the fun is moving them around to see what I like best.

I've found that while light makes my eyes tired after a few hours, plus most of my driving all winter is back and forth to the ski trails in the snow - yellow lenses are wicked in clear cold nights.

Interesting that the clear is draining your eyesight. Our lights are 5000k color rated which is the closest color temperature to the light your eyes see every day. Can you imagine how straining your eyes would be with a company that runs a 6000K color rating?

I'm from a desert racing world for past 40 years -- where my mind is at (just got back from the Baja 1000 on Friday). In that world, the two brands most people run are Baja Designs and Rigid, sometimes KC if they have a sponsorship. Neither Baja Designs nor Rigid is cheap, but they are damned-near bulletproof and throw a TON of light (Chinese lights can't hold a candle, so to speak), both worth consideration if you are serious. My dos centavos.

What they race at the Mil, starting with Tim Herbst:

20211210_171942.jpg I mixed my light set up between DD and BD. Roof rack lights are BD since Uptop Overland has openings for BD lights. For my front spotlight I went with BD LP6pro since they got the best reviews and honestly looks cool. I wish I chose the amber instead of white though.

My ditch lights and fog lights are DD, I want something small and fit nicely into the fog light fixture. I am happy with my setup. Probably overkill.

Hey @Taco_Latte19, You can always switch the lenses on those LP6s to amber. I will attach the replacement lenses below for you to check out.

Thanks, the front lights are Baja Designs LP6 Pro and they are in front of the grill. I used nfab (?) Bar that is screwed between the front bumper and the grill.

    Cheap light buyer here. :anonymous:

I really don't need to harness the sun. I use the ditch lights to locate the trail to my campsite at slow speeds, and also catch eye shine from the brush. Most of the time I keep amber covers on them because I like the lower output. Yeah, I'm weird.

The 20" bar, well that's just a placeholder until I find a need to upgrade it. :anonymous::anonymous: It does come in handy for casting some contrast onto the terrain, and I'm glad to have it when picking my way through rocks.

I don't run fast at night, nor would I want to. That's when the critters come out.

You really can't go wrong with Diode Dynamics or Baja Designs. Both great companies with fantastic products. Getting white with amber covers is a good move as you can remove covers when it's clear and switch to ambers if it gets dusty/wet.

My guess is somewhere in Big Bend. Waiting to see if correct. ⌛

Could be around Las Cruces or Fat Alamo. But, I'm sticking with my first guess.

Only thing is that the left-most mountain in the background has a volcanic contour to it. And, I'm not so sure that there are any volcanoes in Big Bend.

    The suspense is killing me.
