I am wanting to add a light bar on my truck for some added light for while I am hunting... And I was wondering if you guys could show me some ideas of what you have on your trucks and as well what brand works well for you and what you have ? I was looking at some on eBay. I was thinking about putting either a 50inch across the top of the roof or two 12 inch ones in between each side of the front license plate, or a 30 inch across the front behind the front license plate. I am open to suggestions . Thanks

Get a 30" and just move your plate up by drilling new holes in the plate. Put washers behind it so the edges don't scratch the bumper._20160531_181453.jpg

You guys should give us the info on your light bars as you go! Sizing and model, etc.

31" mictuning dual amber/white combo off Amazon for under $200 w/harness. Drilled and tapped crash bars using supplied mounts. No issues so far, and hasn't loosened up after a few months. Just replaced the crappy double throw switch and I'm happy with the output.

Thank you guys I'm really liking the light bar in the bumper then relocating the lincense plate. I looked on google for images but didn't see any great pics! Has anyone bought the ones off of eBay ? If so how well have they held up ? Also does anyone have a write up of installing some light bars on there truck?

I've posted these before, but here goes. The 20" and the 8" bars are switched separately.image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg

Ridged Industries pods and cheap 32" bar ($120 Ebay - China). Great light output with the three!

    (2) 10w LED pods, wired to the reverse lights

I really like the look of the ones that you guys have inside the lip of your bumper, how did you guys mount them? And what size do you guys recommend me getting ? Double or single row led ?

Typically, a single row will have a bit more "throw" due to having deeper reflectors.
