Do you need maximum articulation , or a booted ball joint and adjustability ?

There are quite a few threads on this subject just search for them. Correct me if im worng guys but It depends on your needs, if you just need clearance from an aftermarket spring and to maintain correct alignment after a lift and you dont go hardcore off roading LR should suit your needs. TC is geared toward off roading, it gives you more travel i believe because it has a uniball as opposed to the ball joint the LR has. Both help to keep proper alignment specs after a lift 3" or higher.

A uniball type UCA will have more articulation that the LR UCA

I chose the LR UCA's because I wanted a booted ball joint for my winter driving conditions

Do the LR's have any less flex than uniballs with extended travel shocks? I have the FOX extended travel CO's...At full droop, my CO's top out before the UCA binds. I don't know about compression though. I never fully compressed the suspension with the springs removed. So, not sure if the shock or UCA would be the limiting factor.

I answered my own question here. Extended travel CO's are not restricted by the LR UCA's. Extended travel CO's provide more down travel. The up travel movement is the same between the extended and standard CO's. The question is (for me) do the LR's restrict uptravel on coilovers?
