Who's running 285/75/16s on their stock wheels with Light Racing UCAs? I installed my LR UCAs yesterday and i've only got about a half of an inch between the tire and UCA/Spindle (which is what I had with the stock UCAs)...and i'm only running 265/75/16s
I thought i'd have more room for a wider tire

Ive got this much space between my Tire and UCA l--------l

Well if your running the 285s you still need the cab mounts chopped, im guessing you could just run the 1/4" wheel spacers and you should be fine.

No problem, yea im in the same predicament cause i really dont want to run the 1.5" wheel spacers cause i know they can be bad on your wheel bearings when beating on your suspension.

Sounds like you need new wheels if you want different tires or spacers

Look on CL for some cheap ones. Maybe you'll get lucky and find some you like. I know I saw some Moto Metal ones earlier on there.

    I don't wanna get spacers though :(

I just took my truck down to DT and was gonna have a 285/75/16 test mounted but the guy told me not to worry about it...that i'd clear a 285 no problem...i'd like to think they know what their talkin about but it just doesn't seem like there's enough room. There is about this much space between my UCA and tire... l--------l

I'm gonna go into DT and have a 285/75/16 mounted up to see if it'll fit and not rub on the UCA....
