    DVOM is a great purchase. I use mine around the house all the time and not just for automotive. Mine is a Craftsman and I think I paid like $30. Totally NOT a waste of money.

    I just installed four 170's. I ran the brown wire back to the battery (positive). I can turn the lights on whenver I want, even if the truck is off.

    if running lights just off a switch run the red to the switch and run a fused power source to the other leg of the switch. ground the black
