Lights behind Grillcraft- Help needed!

Do they bounce at all? Have you had them on at night when you are driving?

 

I have used them a little last night and they don't bounce, my only problem is that the fins in the grill keep the lights from being pointed down, the just reflect it back up. As they sit now, at a 100 yds they are shining at the top of of my headlights. That should help with with climbing hills and coming off hills.

Also if you use a piece of angle iron like me you will have to cut the upright side in the middle to allow the grill to flex when it is in the truck. If you look closely you can see my notch right in the middle if the grill.

 

I reinforced mine this weekend with an aluminum bar that I got at Lowes. I did it between the lights and the grill all of the way across and then on the top, I cut 4" pieces. No more vibration!
I would say in your case, mounting from the top might be a better option because you can point the lights where ever you need them to without the worry of hitting the grill. Just my two cents.
