12v always on power point mod, tailgate anti-theft, Addl bed tiedowns, flyzeye dash lights, map lites with dome lite mod, bed stiffeners, air bags, brake controller, always on fog lights,
Yes, there is a TSB that addressed the DTRL burning the lenses. They replace the light housing with a new one that uses an amber bulb and clear lens. No cost to customer. Check with your local dealer for VIN applicability. Good luck!

Yes. But I believe that expired a couple months ago. No longer free.

Hopefully they'll honour it since your truck is a 2010 and they should have done the recall years ago.

Yeah when I got the truck from carmax about 3 years ago they showed me no recalls. So someone will pay for them and not me

Toyota was no help they said it was over 2015. They said 5 years or 100,000 miles.

I got the same story from a Toyota dealer here too. Said the recall was expired as of last year. Really sucks b/c this is indeed a factory defect. I also have the hairline cracks on the insides of my lights so going to be replacing them soon.

TSB has expired for 2010 trucks. A new set of headlights isn't too expensive.

Same for 2011's. I didn't get the letter initially. It was sent to the previous owner.

I almost missed it on my 2011. Got the letter about six months before it expired.

This wasn't a recall, it was a TSB...totally different thing.

I've got the same problem with my 2009 Taco. Never got any kind of notification that the warranty had been extended to cover this defect. Only learned about it when I was getting my springs replaced last month and, of course, the extended period has expired. Service manager suggested I contact Toyota corporate directly to see if they would honor the extension. Anybody out there tried this route? Hey fastang90, are those after-market light packs or Toyota? They look good.
