hello everyone, i'm a new member and first off i would like to say waasssup!!! to everyone. i'm already hooked on this cite, freaking love it!!! these forums already helped me out with the overhead compass/temp display problem but i had another light problem/Q?...

has anyone had problems with their backlights being out on the turning knob where you select the air flow direction? my lights will come on for the fan speed and temp knob, but not for the air flow direction knob on the right. also the a/c button light is out. has anyone had these problems or know where to find instructions to fix? is it just a burnt out light or a fuse?? its getting pretty annoying. thanks!

there is LED's behid there not bulbs, and the ac might be because of the wrong selection on the air direction selector, change it to something else and see if that works, i believe it goes off when you switch to windshield, though it could be the defroster light im thinking about

well the rest of the dash lights are led's so im guessing the ac controls are too. look up how to change the color of your dash lights to get an idea of how to change em out.

if its under warranty id bring it in, prob much easier.

ok so here are some pictures

    1. you need to take out the little triangle things under the air vents on either side of the radio.

    2. use your fingernails or a knife i use a kinfe because its alot easier but be careful not to scratch the plastic. then just pop it out do the same on both sides.

    3. now the plastic things are off and there is two holes on either side.

    4. so now in the hole you can see a little white clip just push on it and the top of the climate control will pop out, do this to both clips on both sides.

    5. ok now the top half is popped out now there are two clips on the bottem half just pull on it slowly and the whole thing will pop out.

    6. ok so now there are two little bulbs on either side these two light up all the controls even the a/c button. they are brown just get a flat head and un screw them they come out really easy. sorry i dont have a picture i didnt take one cuz i thought i had one on my computer.

but if you need any thing else you can pm or whatever hope that helps!
