Any plans to triangulate the back half to the frame through the cab to help with flexing?

The plans call for a halo over the roof and a pillar tubes down to the frame. I'll get to that soon enough.

This is awesome. I'm hoping to pickup a 90s pickup in the next few months and buggy it out. This gives me ideas to what mine would never look like if I work on it. Haha

Only comments that are considered are from owners of solid front axle rigs.

We’re getting closer to welding her out.

This cross member will brace the rear of the bed and support the air bumps Chris provided.

You can get a pretty decent cope using a cutoff wheel and flapdisk.

    B032B9DB-325C-47FE-9C58-E26C3E067094.jpg

Mostly finished bump can support. I have a few gusset plates drawn up to brace the cans will. I'll be cutting those on Sunday.

Bracing the lower rail to the front hoop is definitely necessary. I'll be plating that gap in as well to build a nice hefty frame section.

    Gotta hold up the cooler!

The fuel cell mount is nearly complete as well. Just need a bit of bracing.

Here's the overall shot as of tonight.

The most important part of the build...

    The cooler mount.
