Little help/ question/ ugh

2016 taco sport. Threw a Prinsu pro on it today. No matter what I do the middle bolts will not start to thread. Front and back on both sides and good to go. Do I have the mounts mixed up for driver/ pass side? There were no markings.
Next question is::: put a cali raised 43” light bar on it. Trimmed the wind faring to allow access to the bolts. Approximately 1/2 inch per side. Only problem it points up! Was going to lower wind deflector but already touching the roof at the bottom. Any advice? I used the cali raised light baar mounts designed for Prinsu. Thanks
