Was reading about transmission flushes and why not to do them, and ran into this little article:

If you have neglected regular oil changes and you want to do some interior engine cleaning, get the oil and filter changed and replace one quart of motor oil for one quart of Marvel Mystery Oil. The Marvel Mystery Oil has a very low viscosity content that will clean the engine without damaging it. Do this every 600 miles before you service the engine oil and filter and you will clean the inside of the engine slowly and gently.

Can anyone explain this in a different manner? Couse to me it sounds like you just put in a qt of Marvel in place of a qt of your normal transmission oil, and keep doing this every 600 miles, but for how long? Is this just for manual tranny? It is my understanding that you just use transmission fluid for automatics? This is also not an alternative to changing your tranny fluid correct? Does this sound right, couse Im confused?
