little images on the TW main page

i am sure this has been asked already or there was an announcement of this change, but i didnt quickly come upon the answer.

sooo.... what are these little images on the main tacoma world page?



i have tried to discern where they come from. i have looked in the user control panel to see if there was something similar to a user supplied avatar pic, but i didnt see an option for it. i have tried looking in the thread that the image is associated with, but i couldnt find any similarities to any images posted in the thread. and some threads dont even have this little image next to it.

so where does it come from?

I kinda like the images and wasted a bit of time adding jpegs to posts so that an image would appear. I see future shenanigans occurring with this feature.

 

Neontrail posted a thread about it. I personally don't care for it, seemed too busy on the main page. You can turn it off on the Control Panel

 

ahh.. ok... and, ya... now there is a little image of the pic i posted next to this thread on the main page
