Local Flooding:I did a little offroading this weekend

The two local rivers are in flood stage. We were down at our fish camp Friday and Saturday, moving stuff to higher ground and helping the neighbors. I launched our little 12 ft. fiberglass boat and loaded our 21 ft. pontoon in the yard. She wanted to start spinning while pulling out the pontoon, but 4 LO with the locker engaged changed that,pulled it out no problem. Thought it made for a cool pic:

Which camp is that? It doesnt look familiar to me...I would have helped....looks like ya had a good time pullin it out of the water

Ahh... Isn't that just north of Port St Joe? I'm over their every now and then to visit my grandparents..

 

Yep, between Wewahitchka and Blountstown on HWY 71.

What is the flood stage of the river at down there? I was just through there the other week for work.

 

The Chipola runs into Dead Lakes:

 

The Dead Lakes turns back into the Chipola, and runs into the Apalachicola. It will back up the Dead Lakes when it is up:

I would have been worried about sinking in soft dirt... or was it still paved? Either way, awesome pic.
