    hi TW-

Been searching through the various threads and other online outlets for Rock Sliders for my ‘18 DC OR. Seems to be pretty hefty on shipping for vendors that offer decent looking/functioning ones. Anyone in DFW area know if a local shop that makes/sells rock sliders? And any recommendations?

If there’s another thread this is on- please let me know. I could go deeper and deeper into TW but I might not make it out...

Schrockworks is in Houston. I just bought a set and I’m in Austin. Plan on driving down to get them to avoid shipping.

Did you ended up getting your sliders from SHROCKWORKS? How do you like them? Really want sliders ASAP but shipping is just a killer. I'm in ATX too and be willing to drive a few hours to save few hundred bucks.

Still waiting on them. I am going on 2 months. I called about a week and a half ago and they said they were welding now, almost ready for powder coat. And yeah, I'm with you on the shipping, it sucks. 2 hour drive there for me, I'm happy to do it. Just make a day trip out of it, get dinner, explore a bit, whatever.

Yeah I sent them an e-mail and they are currently in the works but their sliders looks pretty solid for the other vehicles they have. So leaning towards Tandem depending on how they come out or go for either CBI off-road (free shipping).

not sure if you want to hear my 0.02...
i would give Tandem the business if they are offering a fair price, even if it takes them some time. they are the best local support we have for our trucks and they're building up their biz right now by getting into more fab work as they are also doing bumpers and stuff. the more business they get the better it also works for us as local customers. and on top of that they are the only true OR Toyota pros around, and they do top work. Pablo, as is his reputation, has fixed fuckups from THREE different shops that butchered my truck, so i don't mind driving out to them from Denton or wherever.. anyway, there's the 0.02.

This. As some folks know, I’m the fleet manager of a Toyota store. I still drive an hour across the metroplex to have them work on my truck. Pablo and Brandon were even able to unfuck my drop bracket lift and put everything back to stock-ish.

I recommend those gentlemen to everyone I meet and all of my clients.

Thanks. I'm really looking forward to it once they have the sliders available. Their work is looking solid. Thanks from one Karl to another Karl.

I've been exchanging emails with them. They're hoping to have them in production by the end of the month. I'm very much looking forward to seeing them.

I've been looking at them for sliders for my 4Runner, but I've read posts from people who've waited 5-6 months, and 2-3 seems a best case scenario. That's just a ridiculous lead time for a product like this, in my opinion. How hard is it to hire more welders?

Yeah if I end up waiting that long I’m going to be REALLY pissed! Their website says 6-8 weeks, so if they’re busy, ok, I’m not a hardass. I get it. But 6 months? I’ll demand my money back and go elsewhere.
