Lockable rear under seat storage unit for 05-16 Tacoma

Look at my last statement. When you are in the middle of a project, and your stuff is not there, requiring you to stop and purchase again, will probably make you wish you had your stuff locked up.

 

I really don't care to argue it.

It really doesn't matter that much to me.

That's also why you bring out all your tie downs before you start a project.

So here's the deal. Just like any new product, sometimes there are delays. This is exactly what we ran in to. We had delays with outlet locks. The ones we use in the Tundra were the same as what the Tacoma was going to have. We realized that when the lock is in the unlock position, you could not remove the key. This is a problem because there are 3 locks on the Tacoma box. You don't want to use 3 keys to open it right? So we had to have new locks designed and manufactured. This was an expense and a lot of time we didn't expect. We also found out after the fact that the doors on the top were not cut in the right position. If you tried to open the long side, you would have to pull both sides of the seats forward to open the long lid. We aim to provide a product that is perfect when we deliver it. We don't want anyone to get something they aren't happy with. So if this means some people don't want it because of the wait, we apologize. We just want to make sure we turn out quality products and have happy and satisfied customers just as we would want when we buy things. We are very close. Stay tuned!

 

It looks like a top quality product. You guys should be commended on not releasing something prematurely and I would think that most TW participants understand that.
