Has anyone tried installing a locking mechanism, stock look, for the passenger door handle?

I don't carry a remote for my 2013, (hate having so much in my pockets).

I would like to be able to walk up to my passenger door, opening it with the key. Without having to go all the way around, especially when it's raining, etc.

I have seen write ups describing how to change out the handles, but not how to change out the passenger handle, and replacing it with one with a key locking mechanism.

Obviously, I would have to set the key tumbler to work with my key.

    Any ideas?

    Anyone done this?

All that work when all you have to do is hit the FOB twice.
Btw: stop wearing those skinny jeans.

Debadged. ARE Topper. Tailgate mods, including locking handle. BAMF LCA skids.
    I agree w/ the OP.
I miss my passenger side manual locks.
Haven't carried the FOB for more than 6 months.
I do a lot of camping, canoeing and the FOB is a liability.

(It could be worse: I had a rental car for a few days last week while the Taco was in the body shop. The Chevy had humungous electronic fold out keys, like 3/4" thick. And the rental company gave me TWO keys with a security cable connecting them. WTF?)
