    Hey there!

I'm wondering if anyone thinks there will be a lock for the new 09 tailgates? I thinking having a camera in a tailgate that is unlocked is just asking for trouble. Thanks!

In time, Im sure they will be made. In the mean time, use a hose clamp on the tail gate to keep people honest. :)

Pop lock will make one for the 2009 model.

I'm guessing the round part on the tailgate that keeps it from coming up. I get it, that's a easy solution, if I could only find one with a torque or square head that would be perfect!

    Howdy all,
First time poster on this site, new to toyota in general. Found this thread in response to my searches for tailgate locking. I was out with my quad last weekend, someone stole my ramp and looks like they were in the process of taking my tailgate too as my hoseclamp around the hinge was loosened and half way removed. Must have gotten scared off at the last second. Has anyone installed one of these gate keepers? http://www.jimmijammer.com/Product,%20GK.htm
Looks easy enough but they don't have any prices shown. Anybody tried one?
    Thanks in advance.
