Bummer dude. If you don't need it right away you could wait it out a little and see if the prices drops...that's what I did.

I learned that the hard way. When I first found it. It was around $65 then sky rocketed to $110 and now it's $78 so no more waiting. Lol

Well either way it's a hundred dollar case worth of value and you won't be disappointed.

Rotopax is in... gonna need to do some improvements to it since it is not as solid as I think it needs to be. Too much side to side rocking IMO. For what this setup costs I feel that the fit and finish isn't there sadly. Good news is that it allows me to store 4 gallons of gas with a small footprint in the bed which I need maximum space in for my pelican case setup so I will improve it to work as I think it should from rotopax originally. Stoked but let down at the same time.

Why not two mounting brackets on each side rather than the one in the center? I think that would solve the problem of stability although like you mentioned the price goes up.

    This^^^ how rotopax designed it!
Hence the reason you're not satisfied with a great product

So if it was not designed to be placed on a single mount then why is there a center mount? I saw multiple photos of guys running it on the single mount just fine. The issue it that the stupid fucking plate rocks inside the rail not the can on the mount...that shit is rock solid. Fear not I stopped by Lowes to grab the remedy and will be in the bed of the truck momentarily!

Nope. Seriously want to give that spacer a shot. These MPGs out to Utah need to improve!
