Funny fucker, this morning when I got up I went outside and just for a sec thought about mounting speakers in the back of the panels. I already have wiring to the Rigid Pods....Dammit.

Question, I know you have the Pelfreybilt mounts in your bed, just got mine in and painted. It is just as simple as removing the rear fender liner and drilling the bed right?

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
What's a fender liner? See them 2 nyloc nuts... those are the nuts for the shovel and Axe mounts. Just drill and bolt. I didn't paint mine though.

Swingout done and back on the truck. It's still drying a bit more since I have noticed that the bedliner is dry to the touch in a few hours but gets nice and hard over a few days of good sun and warm temps so it's outside curing now. Just got to wire up the 3 in Pods and toss some straps on it once dry. Good things to note about this setup is I have no loss of departure angle, it sits behind the spare and I gave myself some wiggle room for 37s... ;)

No no it's only expensive if you pay other people to do all your work for you like some folks around this forum. Everything you see done to the truck has happened in the garage... only at the shop for alignments and for Toyotas free oil changes.

Exactly. I wouldn't have been able to build that swingout without Rbraddock and ScaldedDawg along the way. Those 2 dudes were crucial...although I learned today that my swingout was the test platform for Scalded Dawgs build for his T4R.

Dude this is sick!!! What tools are you using for all this fab work? All i have is a shitty welder, an angle grinder, and basic hand tools.

I want a winch instead of using my muscles..... envisioning a HF winch in my future.

Angle Grinder, welder, sharpie and a couple of magnets help. Highly recommend a square and flat ruler vice a measuring tape.
Having folks that know what they are doing is a big plus.

I shit canned them for the 35s... they were long gone when I installed the Pelfreybilt mounts.

If I had the ability to still run liners I would...crap gets everywhere in there!

A TW member named BlackTacoma used 5lugger fenders on his to get rid of the flares to squeeze 37s. Looked really good up front!
