Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
It was a full day project...I used the dremmel 100% on the flares. Used the little saw for 80% of the actual fender and the dremmel for the rest of it.

Plan on a whole day though.

Do you have an air compressor? If so when we isntalled my high Clearance bumper we used an air saw and it worked amazing! I imagine it would be great for this too but I don't own or use air tools.

I do. I might even take it to work and put it on the lift so I don't have to crouch to cut. I probably will stay electric though. It's hard to bend and move with a bulky air hose especially when it needs to be slow and precise

If you have access to a lift then you should always use a lift...I have been thinking of installing a lift at the house on my trailer slab...but then new concrete...

I think the minimum for a normal 10k two post lift is 6-8" of concrete. You can get them installed for under 4k though which isn't bad. I have access to 6 car lifts, 1 truck lift and an alignment rack. I never pay for truck mod installations haha

Do it! Having a lift is awesome. Just be careful keeping it in the elements. California gets away with it but don't know how it would be out east here.

If I invested that kind of change I would do a cover port for it...but that is not even on my radar yet...gotta get the yard graded and pull up my deck for a patio.

Never. My Taco has it's own garage! After 10 years working outside with zero cover I had our house built here in VA with enough garage for 4 bikes, 1 car and 1 truck...and a slab for a trailer...I hate working outside.

Also I get plenty of work done without a lift... here's AaronArf's truck getting the business in the garage.

It's quick...just make sure you are on the right plug as there are the same colored wires on the AC controls...I had to do it twice since I decided to disable the TPMS on my Fan switch....much hatred filled the truck once I realized what I had done.
