theres actually quite a bit of wire in the tailgate for relocating the camera to a swingout, might get away with not having to extend em. I didn't have to when I relocated mine, swings with it and everything. cool seeing people make their own stuff

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
I don't think I'm going to be so lucky... I am reusing most of the original shorty swingout that Billy made and it swings from the driver side vice the passenger side. I bet if it was swung from the other side I would be good or really close but sadly I am 100% sure I will be extending some harness.

Good news is I am able to build the new one with just a few feet of 3x1.5 tubing...bad news is I had to buy a whole stick so hopefully I get to build 3 more or this is just gonna sit in my garage forever ;)

Also did you check out those RE shackles? I can pull some specs off them for you if needed.

yea I did actually thanks. still might make my own, like with the upper mount(to the hanger) being like a creeper joint, so its rebuildable, and lets the shackle pivot when your flexed so the springs don't have to twist soo much and probably flex better. just an idea im playin with. but im on this air bump kick right now lol, never ends man never ends.

I am so happy to have the tire back on the bumper! Digging the center mounted tire and can't wait to get the jerry cans on there.
