Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
What I have in my head is a weld on for the 8.4 like Allpro where it cover the bottom of the pumpkin and just goes as far back as needed to keep the ring gear covered.

How tall did you decide to make the small uprights and the bigger uprights?

12" and 6" respectively. Although I have learned that my design sucks so I'm going to be starting over with it. Learning as I go.

Has to do with the fact that I welded it up overlapping vice beveled. I am confident that it would work fine but I also want to learn how to do this better...I built this one without any real help from my 2 friends that have been showing me how to weld and they noticed the lapping metal.

Really I think it is more that strong enough but my mentor/professional critic is a weld inspector for nuclear submarines... so if I can gain his approval I know I did it well enough...that being said this didn't cut his mustard and that was just via seeing it on Facebook.

I can sell yah this one ;)

Off topic but are you ever going to get an Instagram? It would make seeing pics of your truck easier.

I agree it may not tickle the fancy of profesh welders, but I'm into function over form. I dig it. I think shipping would cost more than duplicating.
