    Hi guys,

Not sure if there is already a thread on this or not but I wanted to know if the long bed configuration came in the 6speed manual transmission. Before I bought mine, I've searched all over but it seems like only the automatics come with the long bed option. I love look of the long bed and the space that it provides. Too bad I couldn't find any in manual.

Access cab TRD Sport is the only one that isn’t a 4-door short bed.

There seem to be a lot of people who want that configuration, but unfortunately it doesn't exist. The only way to have a long bed manual transmission truck in a 2005-2020 is to get the smaller access cab. No double cab long bed has ever been made with a manual.

Thanks for the info guys. Drove 4hrs out of state for my truck so if this configuration ever existed, you can bet I'll drive any distance for it.

Just extend your frame and drop a long box on. Problem solved.

It would have made my decision a little tougher if they had a DCLB in manual but I ended up with what I wanted with the access cab. I wish there was more choices for manual but it is a dying breed...

I did the same and ended up swapping out for a DCLB Off-Road a few months later. Lost a few grand that I mostly made up saving a couple points on promo financing and the fact I'd need tires on the Sport. Not to mention I've driven away from several situations where ATRAC saved my ass that I'm not very confident the Sport would have pulled off.

For a really long time in Canada if you wanted DCSB you had to get a 6MT and if you wanted DCLB you had to get AT.

Unfortunately DCLB has never been made with a manual anywhere. If you really wanted one you can either frame swap a manual (hard) or transmission swap an automatic (less hard).

Is in the US only the TRD sport Access Cab is available with the 6MT. 2016-2017 had also the SR Access Cab with the 2.7 4cyl with a 5MT. If in Canada, you can get the TRD OR V6 Access Cab.

I imagine a DCLB could be converted to manual.
    You would need a RC62F 6MT
an manual trans ECU and wiring harness
    Custom length driveshaft
    Swap for 4.30 B06A differential

Probably wouldn’t need a custom driveshaft. Just use the front half from a DCSB 6MT and the rear half from a DCLB TRD OR.
