I need to haul a bundle of 25-30' tipi poles half way across the country. How should I do that?

Either find a long trailer to tow and hope it's within the towing weight, or find a bigger truck.

Cut them into small pieces and glue them back together when you get where you're going :)

Honestly, 25' to 30' cross country sounds like a job for a gooseneck flatbed trailer. Find a hotshot, trucking company, or just go where you're going and try to source the poles there.

I can't think of a way a Tacoma is going to do that with much ease, and personally, I can't imagine it's worth the effort.

^ That's a pretty reasonable price too. That might work, depending on how many poles we are talking about.

The overall length of the truck is only 21-22'. With poles 30' long, you're sticking out 4' front AND back. I wouldn't want to drive cross country like that personally.

See if you can borrow a long enough BOAT TRAILER from someone.

16' car hauler with rack and my old Dodge. 29' sailboat mast with only 12" past end of trailer and the rest over the box of the truck.
