long term outlook of a lift

so i've been thinking lately, wondering how having a 3" lift with some 33's is going to be years from now. i want to have this truck for a long time. but what is the long term negative effects of these lifted trucks. i know i'm going to have to get some new cv boots eventually though, just unsure what other major problems, if any, i may run into. i've honestly considered just putting some bilsteins on the truck and going back to stock tires and wheels. but the truck looks much too damn good to do that lol
