Is that the driver's front tire de-beading? that's a crazy hard landing.

A lot of people have been PMing me about the defined kit recently and I see all the discussions happening so i thought i would just post here my basic answers to peoples emails here..

First, Mike has been super helpful with me and both via email and phone. I recently broke a spring clip and contacted Mike to get it fixed and he put me in touch with the guy from deaver and i was able to get it fixed real cheap.

I dont yet have long travel in the front yet so i dont attempt to smash my truck through the bigger whoops because the front just wont hang. But through most stuff around ocotillo the rear end handles no problem at speed and feels bottomless, plus youll just forget axle wrap ever existed.

Im also strapped at 13.5 inches. It has shit ton of up travel before the bumps.
My shocks are more than long enough to make more down travel but the shackles would need to fully invert to droop any more and that wouldnt be good thing. At ride height they sit in about the 1230 - 1oclock position and move forward to probably like the 4 oclock position when fully drooped out. The shackles would have to reach 6oclock to make like 15 or 16 inches. The shackle hanger on these tacomas wont even allow the shackle itself to fold over that far.

Im totally stoked with the 13.5 inches. Wish i could pull the trigger on something for the front but Im still up in the air on what Ill end up doing.

A question that's more of the bs category, all the guys running 35x12.5 bfg all terrains, how do they perform in the sand and overall? A lot of guys seem to run them but I'm curious if they are all happy with them
