Where's this number come from? I know Joel has the kit on his truck, and Steve said more travel should be achievable with removal of the inner fenders but he never specified a number

I'm sure there is a thread about this somewhere, but just hoping someone can give me some guidance. I am thinking of runnings 35s on my 2nd gen DCLB and dont wanna cut, so I was thinking of getting some glass fenders. Anyone have any fitting issues with Fiberwerx vs. Glassworks? I would initially do the front and then maybe the rear

Unless you have 6" + of lift the fenders are just a small percentage of your clearance issues. Even at 6" with 35's you will have to remove flaps, chop your cab mount, remove your inner fender lenders or severely chop them up, flatten the pinch weld in the front wells etc etc the only thing glass fenders will do is give you vertical clearance. There is a whole thread about fitting 35's on 3" lifts with a ton of great info you should check that out.

Question for the LT crowd - has anyone re plumbed their front brakes completely and just run stainless hose from the top of the frame at that L junction straight to the caliper ? Any issue with loss of pressure ? The OE rubber hoses were soooo soft I feel like good stainless hoses would do the the trick just fine ?

Well right now I'm at mid travel but my long term goal is to go lt with 35s I was just thinking in stages. Yeah I've removed the mud flaps and took out the inner wall already. But I'll definitely look into that. Thank you

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Picked the truck up from DMZ! Now to go give it a quick test!

Is everyone running the stock tranny? My auto tranny is on it's way out. It doesn't want to shift past 2nd unless im barely on the gas. I have the ITP shift kit and a massive cooler but I guess it's not enough. I'm looking into upgrading to the TH400.
