Pretty sure they are all the same inners. Total chaos sells LT manual axles IIRC. I have plenty of OEM manual axles if you get me some LT shafts we can get it set up or you can buy then new around $341 each from Toyota.

I stand corrected, they are ADD. Just get the shafts from CVJ and then put on your own inners hubs and manual outer. If you need some or need help just shoot me a PM.

@Wulf has, however we're not talking a freewheel hub like a dana where you just put duct tape in the back of the snout to keep the bearings clean.

Why don’t you just order LT shafts from CVJ? Is it the cost? Or will they not just sell the shaft alone.

Well it’s 1100 after shipping. Or I sent them it has to be oem axles and it then takes off 125$ a axle, but yea if I was add cvs the mcm kit would be 2850 and we would be done. But now I’m gonna buy the kit without cvs so 2300 then hopefully figure out which route I wanna go for cvs

I know someone through king so the I won’t be waiting 30 weeks on shocks

Best of luck, whatever you do, DO NOT google Long Travel Shafts in your searches.

The whole LT platform was built around the compatibility of a Gen 1 Tundra CV. Manual hub trucks never were a big enough percentage of vehicles getting modified in the desert offroad market for anyone to manufacture shafts for them unfortunately. If worst comes to worst and you don't mind spending some more coin, Solo makes spindles that use a Dana 44 manual hubs and special shafts that are a couple grand... but they're truly full float where you could freewheel home regardless if you grenade your axle or diff...

Do the manual hub outer CV joints have a different spline or axle shaft length requirement?

Ahhh, I was thinking the outer CV to axle shaft was the issue. I know the differences between the spindle/hubs, I'm working manual hubs/semi float bearing with large CV joints and 30 splines all around for my 3rd Gen.

    Yes but...

Same spindle with a different hub / bearing unit which typically makes people want to swap rather than rebuild the spindles.

ok, verbiage is different. Same knuckle, different spindle, same bearing, no lockout on one, different hubs between the two. Everybody uses different terms between 1st and current gen designs Completely different outer.

Ah gotcha - yep knuckle or upright is typically referred to as a spindle on here and the spindle that holds the bearings would typically be referred to as the bearing and hub assembly on here - it's funny since I go from the terms usually referred to on here to all the other ones you mentioned immediately when talking about their counterparts on solid axle / dana parts.

    So 1st gen outer has:
    -Manual spline
    -ADD spline (1taco)
    Inner:
    -Manual spline
    -ADD spline

    2nd gen outer has
    -ADD spline (2taco)
    Inner:
    -ADD spline

    1st gen Tundra outer has:
    -ADD spline (1tnd)
    Inner
    -ADD spline

Are all inner ADD splines the same?
Are any of the outer splines the same?
