With the TC kit? It's uniball. The upper is what binds, wouldn't matter if you had a 12" shock in there it would get the same travel. I know the burg kit does a little better, but not enough to write home to ma about.

the TC and burg kits both upgrade the lower to a uni-ball on the 2nd gen kits

us 1st gens get screwed... thats why i got the solo spindles so i can upgrade to a lower uni ball... just havent spent the money to do so yet

thats just how the engage kits sit with the spindle... he's at 0 preload.

would a larger than 1" uni ball would solve the binding issue?

No it's going to bind because the bolt diameter is limiting the articulation..

Only logical move to achieve huge numbers up front is equal length beams..

Beams? Go ride in one and then tell me that. It's called dirty hooker travel for a reason, it's scary, lol. That's also the reason the big guys don't run it (or haven't since the mid 80's, they were a couple fairly successful beamed rigs back then).

I'm sure you already figured it out it isn't a 50T pack. That sucka is flat!! 50T has massive arch. Probably the 3" lift pack. Also there isn't triple military wrap. Should measure 61.5" if you follow along the arch eye to eye.

    Wanna buy some spindles? Haha..

I like having a fabricated spindle..i like knowing it's not a weak point..

And I will be getting a 50t pack..just have to wait a few months..

I'm going to sell that other leaf pack..
