Just ask how many guys on here with supercharged and lifted tacomas get better mileage than stock... it doesn't happen.

Him saying it's 15-16 is a little more believable. the only time that truck saw close to 20 was coasting.

agreed out of the stock colors the tan is the best looking combo.

if it where mine thats what i would do i would want it to look like a black hole inside lol

i would list it on auto trader and ebay thats what i'm doing with mine and it has generated a lot of interest in the truck in a very short period of time. granted most people have no clue what they are even looking at but, they like it non the less lol.

My statement stands. I would bet that truck weighs at least 5,000 lbs. a stock corvette's power/weight ratio would kill it.

I'm sure it's a fast for a truck, but not compared to actual fast cars like you listed.

All that being said, it looks ok, just not the way I would have modded it.

this is the pic I sent to my toyota service manager. I wanted to show him after an oil change with my oil (Mobile 1) vs their quakerstate crap that I got much better gas mileage. This was sustained for for about an hour on the interstate until the speed limit when up to 70mph and hills were added.

    To each his own.

I also had a 620hp 4 door sedan that blew the doors off a Ferrari F430.... who would have thought that either hu? It also ran mid-high 11's in the 1/4 mile. Crazy right?

no problem i hope you sell it fast and for your asking price. which btw, seems completely reasonable to me the truck has some great mods and everything is tasteful and useful for the most part. i think the only thing thats going to mess you up is trying to find someone in this economy that has that kind of cash banks might give an auto loan out to people but, then they still need 8 to 10k cash on top of it. selling anything in this market is tough good luck.

it really is a sweet ride man. like i said i wish could buy it 505 hp is a shit ton of power! hell i thought the 5.7 ran great from the factory the one i drove felt like a monster. i can't imagine what your yours is like to drive down the road that thing would absolutely walk away from most things on the road.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. That seems to be the problem with most of my builds. They turn out very high value do to mods but if your wait and are not in a rush, the right buyer will come through.

looks nice but thats alot of stuff to put in a pretty much mall crawler truck... would suck to take it off road and crawl up some rocks, to be honest i would sell it by parts and put it back to stock and sell the parts. you'll probably get more out of it

not that crazy. that also wasn't a 2 1/2 ton truck was it...

like i said, power to weight ratio is all that matters in a straight line for the most part.

Ferrari's are a lot lighter then a full size 4 door sedan tank of a car too.

All im saying is the truck is fast. Im not saying it will walk down or walk away from a sports car... all I am saying is that is it will deff give it a run for its money. I guarantee you will surprise the owner of the car since the he wont see you in his rear view mirror but more like in his blind spot.

This isn't a thread about what can beat what. It's a thread regarding the sale of a fantastic Tundra.

F150 has nothing on the tundra. Tundra has bigger engine. Bigger front brake calipers. Better rear axle and diff. Better 4wD. The tundra does not have engine and transmission issues... And the spark plugs dont break off in the block. The list keeps going.

    I drive a 2010 Sequoia 4x4 with the 5.7 v8. I also own a 1999 Tacoma TRD 4x4 extra cab v6.

The stock sequoia 5.7 can flat out haul a$$! I can only imagine how a supercharger would make it fly. And the tundra is lighter. I get 15.5mpg in the sequoia and that is life of the truck, dash computer verifiable.

The black and tan combo on the tundras are better appreciated in person. I was strongly leaning that way when I shopped for a bigger Toyota for growing family. It looked so good, I wanted the tan in my sequoia. But the wife wanted grey on grey, so went with it.

This is a very nice truck. Mileage is only 9,000 per year, which is low mileage.

It is very expensive to have a detail job as the OP described. And well worth it when one right.

Maybe it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I would drive it. Maybe take out the body lift.

The trouble with getting the price you want will be guys trying to finance a used vehicle and the 72 mos, 0% Toyota is offering on the tundras right now. That interest rate would allow a guy to build his truck to his more particular tastes in a personalized build.

GLWS! For the haters....appreciate the fact that this bada$$ Tundy stacks up with any other similar type build in a Chevy or ford model. Long live Toyota!

PS.....in Texas, this truck would probably be about average height!
