lookin for a headache rack

    as the title says i really need a headache rack!!

    i know its not in the buy sell trade area butthat is cause i want EVERYONE in the 1st gen section to see it i might get lucky, im in the ft polk louisiana area so traveling to texas wouldnt be that big of a deal. please help me out let me know if you got one if you want to sell it or if you got one were you got it from and a possible part number please and thank you.

    yes but then there is shipping if i was to get it from you and if i was to do it the cost would out weigh the perks of making it myselfcause i would have to ret a flat bay rent the welder buy the material and pay per rodif i burn stick or per roll if i burn wire the sosts on post are rediculous

    I'm pretty sure they are called headache racks because they protect your head from things coming through the back window. Something like that.

    they are called headache racks due to guy's mounting lights on them and blinding everyone lol.

    also eric of relentless fab makes the nicest one i have ever seen check out his site he is a vendor on tw. good luck

    It actually comes from when they are used on tractor trailers. When we haul pipe or anything on a flatbed, the cab is outfitted with one. It prevents anything that can come flying through the cab. Just so when you jam the brakes and cargo slams into the back of your cab, your not hurt and it takes the brunt of it, protecting the cab.
