Looking at an 06 Taco and need some help...

I have a 97 and looking at an access cab with auto trans with 23k miles on it. It is auto with power windows door locks and cloth interior. They say its under factory warranty. How long is the warranty and how many miles? Does it come with a tachometer as the pictures only show the speedo? How much quiter are they at hgwy speeds than the first generation, if any? Mine has a lot of road/wind noise at 80mph. I hate it. Does the back have enough room to squeeze somebody back there for a short trip. Although under warranty should I look out for anything? Lastly, they are asking $14,900. Good price, bad price what should I offer. Thanks so much everybody and looking forward to driving the heck out of it!
