    Hello everyone,

I put in my f67 deaver leafs under the tacoma last week and see that I have to go through the bed in order to use all the travel that the leafs have. Looking for recommendations.

    Fully offloaded
    - From top of axle housing to bump stop plate - 19in

    Fully compressed
-From top of axle housing to bump stop plate - 3in

12in shackle still not touching the frame.

    Thank you

    Here's my bump height.

Just to make sure, you're cycling the axle with the main spring only correct? Doesn't sound far off from what I've got - 16 3/4 total, 16 1/2" bumped and strapped when I add straps.

The best short bed bed cage that I've seen is @Icon_Adrian 's made by DMZ.

What I would potentially change is mounting the cage straight to the frame (where possible). I made floating spacers to mount my bed cage straight to the frame and depending on where they sit for a short bed, I'd do the same for any bolt on bed - this gives you a super solid connection to the frame and all you need is loosen 6 (for the long bed) nuts and you can pull it off for removing your cage and if you want to, bed.

You just use a step bit to drill out the bed above the factory bolts and drill out the factory weld nuts to accommodate 1/2" diameter (or M12 if you love metric) bolts. The red line helps distinguish the bottom spacer from the stand off tubes I made to build the cage from. The spacers could be welded into the cage, but I wanted to keep them this way to make sure I could get everything to line up by having the spacers moveable.

Here it is showing the rear 4 of 6 spots where the factory bed locations come through the bed.

    Here it is "finished"
