so, my truck has a 3 inch spacer lift, and a 3 inch body lift... i bought it that way.

i want to do some heavier off roading (Pismo, Maybe rubicon trail...)

everywhere i've looked says the body lift is poop for the heavier stuff.

so... i was looking at the fabtec 6 inch lift (taking both current lifts out and installing a new one)

with all this in mind, how much am i looking to spend? should i have it done? is there a better 6 inch lift available?

also, what's going to have to be modified/replaced when the body lift is taken out?

    THANX!

Buddy of mine had the Fabtech 6" on his 04 Dodge 1500 installed by a garage and ran him I think ( been awhile ) around 3000$ when all said and done.. Realize though, they did a pro job with all diff drops installed, proper shaft alignments, etc.....

I will also say I rode in it and it rode great, even with the mudders on it.. All the dudes on here and other sites all agree they are one of the tops on the market.. I will try and find the website I was on the other day, someone had a complete ( even though it was an 04 ) 6" install with pics, broken down from start to finish.. I remember the biggest deal was some front end cutting and welding and when they test drove it the front tire rubbed on the plate by the caliper, they fixed that and did some wheelin..
