    good point..but i chose to go with a single DIN because i stuffed a 2meter HAM radio underneath the HU..fits perfectly

    No specific recommendation here other than you might want to check out the Crutchfield website. You can plug in your vehicle, and it will list everything you can possibly put in it (well, everything that Crutchfield sells, but they have good variety and info), and you can narrow by ipod-compatible, etc. I've just started looking into options. It might help you with some side-by-side comparison.

    Alpine FTW! I LOVE my Alpine CDA-9886. This is basically the new version of mine. Its Alpine's top of the line CD head unit that also has USB and full iPod/iPhone control from the deck.
