My wife makes and sells found object art. She has found a treasure trove of stuff at a place called Smith and Edwards that's just north of Ogden Utah. I have a couple of weeks off during Christmas and the desire to go on a road trip. So I'm looking for another surplus place like Smith and Edwards some place in Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, or Southern California.

If you've never been to Smith and Edwards it's an old school war surplus place. It is hard to describe so here are some pictures

So there it is. Does anyone know of a place like it some where in the south west?

I always see it going up and down I15 but never stop by... Looks like they have some interesting stuff. Good luck on finding others like it, there out there just can't remember at the moment.

If you're down in SLC, check out NPS (1600 Empire Rd. Salt Lake City, UT 84104). Similar to Smith and Edwards but way cheaper. They have a little bit of everything, surplus and "it fell out the back of the semi" stuff :D

I work with a guy who is related to the NPS owners and used to work there. He tells me what's out front is just the tip of the iceberg.
