Looking for computer monitor brand recommendations

I need to upgrade the external display I use for my laptop. I want to go with an UltraWide, 36" - 45" range. Dell and LG are among the top quality brands that I am familiar with, just wanted to ask if there might be any other recommendations among current manufacturers.

<added> It's a Windows laptop, not a Mac, but I would also connect my MacBook Pro to it when needed. I am not considering Apple display$$$$$$$$$$$$ due to the cost. This will primarily be used daily for work, and I'm not a gamer so don't need the highest end bleeding edge technology.

I'm looking at keeping the cost between $800 - $1300ish.

I use (2) Dell monitors for work and personal

My laptop hooks up to a docking station to use with 2 monitors. I know there are probably better out there but it's perfect for my needs

I've used a dual monitor setup for years and years and I debated long and hard before buying this one. I'll never go back to two monitors again. Because of the curve your eyes don't have to continually refocus as you look around the screen. At the end of the day that makes a huge difference in how tired I feel. The other big advantage over the dual monitor setup is I can put the app I'm working on in the center of my vision and all of the various sub menus and browsers live on the sides. I went with the 34" size because of limited desktop real estate and budget, but IMO the next size bigger would be better.

Oh, before I bought the curved monitor I was using a 48" 4K TV as a monitor and I did not like it at all. The corners of the screen were visually too far away. I felt like my eyes had gone on a long hike traveling around the beast.

I have a 38" dell curved screen with 3840x1600 resolution. It has been very reliable. High resolution is key if you work with spreadsheets with a lot of data.
