Aloha Hawaii members, I am seeking guidance from your members because I am considering going wider on my wheels and wondering if the truck would still fit in my garage. I had reached out to the mainland members but all I get is criticism about why I want to go wider instead of trying to help a brother out.

I have a 2007 Tacoma dbl cab with a 6 inch lift and currently running 20X10 on 33X12.5X20's but I would like to go 20X12. The truck has already been shaved and trimmed to fit the 33's. The problem is that my garage is only a single car garage and I'm not sure if the 20X12 on these tires will allow me to fit. I know that the "Hawaiian Style" for many are wide wheel and that is what I wish to achieve. After watching the many Hawaiian cruises on youtube postings, I'm hoping someone would be willing to provide me with the width of their 20X12 on 33X12.5X20 wheel stance so I can determine if I can go wider or not.

    Mahalo!!

You might want to go ask in our section. But there’s not a lot of those type of trucks on this forum.

your stance will be 4-5" wider. Since you aren't changing the tire size, the tires will be a little stretched on the rim, thus making the tire have less meat sticking pass the rim. So if your truck is 48" wide with the 20x10 wheels, your truck will now be about 53" wide.
