Looking for I4 4x4 tacoma. any help?

im currently an owner of a 2004 SVT Ford Lightning but because of some inconveniences i have to let it go, such as expensive upkeeping, gas etc...now i am looking for a rather newish tacoma suits all my needs such as good mpg and off-roading capabilities and sick look...i know tacoma is the only one that provides a 4cyl 4x4 truck, but they are rather hard to find in SoCal.

my question is anyone selling a tacoma? or you know of a helpful dealership in SoCal that will have em in stock?

yea ive been having trouble finding em hopefully ill get some good feedback.

 

I tried for a while to find a 4cylinder 4X4 in SoCal... but I ended up giving up. Most dealerships will tell you it's not even an option out here, and CA's import laws are difficult when it comes to new vehicles.

The best option I found, was to go through Carmax and find a used one... found a 2005 4 cylinder 4X4 in Wisconsin... but I opted for a 4 cylinder 5-lug here... then traded that in on a V6...

The gas mileage difference to me wasn't enough to discourage me from getting the v6... with my kind of driving, I was only getting 19 mpg from the 4 cylinder (freeway driving in socal WILL kill your gas mileage)

 

true true...im goinig to give it a try for a bit and see what i can get...gas here is almost 4 bucks and with the truck i have now, its killing me...ive always liked tacomas, i would of gotten one instead of a lightning but i f^cked up. im gonna try to find one, but if i cant find one im just gona have to go for a v6...
