Hi, just wondering if anyone has a tape deck for sale or knows any info on how to put one in. My 98 had no stereo at all when I bought it, just aux cord and the stereo harness. Thank you.

I've got my stock setup. Works fine. I'll ship it to you for $25 if you want it. I would just go buy a new stereo and wire it up

Post a pic of what you do have sticking out of your dash. If you have the truck's stereo harness you should be able to match up the wiring and make pretty much any radio work.

I have my factory one sitting on a bookshelf at home (from an 04) if you're interested.

That’s the aftermarket wiring. Unplug it if you can from the stock connectors.

^^This. Once you unwire that aftermarket connector you should be able to wire up the truck's connector to any stereo you get. Just make sure the stereo comes with its own connector and marry them using wire nuts. At least thats what I always do and it hasn't failed me yet.

If you get a single DIN stereo buy a cheap pocket to screw on underneath it, like this: https://www.amazon.com/UPT900-Unive...73ET3W97ZZ0&psc=1&refRID=XSJBDGYKB73ET3W97ZZ0
