Hi i know this subject has been discussed a lot here, the SUPER WHITE PAINT PEEL. But i was wondering if anyone had a relatively cheap solution to hide/fix this problem.
i was thinking of getting thicker/bigger weather strips and using some duplicolor to hide the paint peel around the windows. So if anyone has done anything similar or has any product recommendations id love to hear/see them.

I've seen some people wrapped around the windows a satin black but that doesn't really appeal to me.

anything wrapped or stuck over bubbling paint is going to hold moisture and road salt against bare metal. You REALLY have to get it repainted.

Scrap it off. Sand it lightly. Tape off the area in question and plastidip it to make it look like a wear protection area. If uniformed it would not look bad at all. If don’t right, the plastidip will look decent for years.

Why not go to the dealer and see if they will fix it under warranty. Flex seal would be a complete mess, plastic dip is a mess too, wrapping it can become an install mess as well. When applying the wrap and the installer has to lift the wrap up and put it back down on the peeling edges it may pull the paint or clear off. This will mess up the wra and can show lines under the wrap. Paint it and fix it correctly.

Tacoma has been denied on any fix. Other models Toyota has been taking care of them with this problem. Whom knows why their excluding Tacoma. I would do nothing, until Toyota steps up.

Unfortunately the 'right way' is stripping to bare metal and start over. The primer is the issue, not the paint

They are repainting LOTS of white Toyotas. Just not Tacomas.

Yes, on an extended warranty. Again, just not Tacomas. I saw a 2010 Corolla in line right ahead of my '14 RAV just last fall.

In the mega thread of https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...040-paint-issue-failure-thread.689940/page-16 you might find my recap of my experience in post 317 interesting.
