Some will say they have issues, but I love mine. A little over a month and about 1000 miles in.

    Here we go again.... @smitty99

Take the plunge, just take the truck for a test drive, that should answer your questions.

Why are you thinking about the Taco?

List your positive reasons for it, then list the negatives for it. Do that for every vehicle you test drive.

Which has the most positive and least negative? There is your answer.

Me, Tacomas have done well by me so far, and I am sure Toyota will continue to stand behind it.

The new Tacoma is a total different driving experience compared to the older tacomas. I think they are still pretty good trucks. I Have had my 2017 Tacoma and the only problem I have is the howling differential which is a very faint sound and does not happen all the time. I am waiting on touyota to come up with a TSB to get this resolved.

I like everything else about the truck confort, technology, and better gas mileage.

I would suggest that you do a good test drive and take your time and shop around. The Tacoma is a new redesign truck and with any new design you are most likely to experience some problems. I know when the 2016 came out there were a lot of complaints. The 2017 are out and there are still some complaints but not like when the 2016 came out. Hopefully I would like to think toyota is starting to address these QC problems it just takes time.

Good luck. What exactly do you plan to use the truck for.

Go for it. The taco is certainly better than the alternatives.
I haven't had any issues with my taco (bought 01/16).

Thanks everyone for the replies!! I do appreciate it. How's the power I feel after a test drive it's sluggish compared to my 4Runner and that was sluggish compared to my 2009 supercharged Tacoma which I should have never sold.
