    Hey
If I am posting in the wrong section MOD please move this! thanks.

I am somewhat new here on TW.

    Ok I am looking for

    MUST HAVE:
2001 or Newer, Less than 140k miles, TRD, SR5, Crew Cab (Dbl Cab), Bed Liner, V6 3.4L or bigger (No v4 2.4 lol)

    Would like:
2003 or Newer, Less than 120k miles, TRD, SR5, 4x4, Crew Cab, 3" lift or more, Bed Topper, Grill Guard, Bug Guard, Rain Guards x4, Dark Tinted windows,

Id love to hear WHY I should get a 1st Gen. or WHY I should get a 2nd Gen. What the differances are in quality, value, add ons, looks, things to look out for for either Gen. or both Gens.

If there is a 2003 TRD 4x4 SR5 Crew Cab with 118k miles
is it better or worse then a 2006 TRD 4x4 Sr5 Crew Cab with 138k miles at the same price?.... and Why?

    Thanks,
    Carson.

no such thing as "better." it's all about personal preference. since it's YOUR money, decide what you like best and then go get one.

personally i like to buy the newest vehicle i can afford, on the presumption that every year improvements and refinements are made to a vehicle line. hence why i bought a 2nd gen. some people will say the first gens have better quality than the 2nd gens. some people like the room of the 2nd gen, some people say the 1st gen is better because it's smaller. some people like the more refined ride of the 2nd gen. some people like the more truck like ride of the 1st gen.

you could go on like this forever. no one can decide what you prefer better than you.
