Add 500-700 to your budget and add UCA.

285/75/17 zero rubbing on pavement. CMC and plastic trimming done.

    That's on 17x8.5 0 offset and .75" wheel spacers.

I would definitely be willing to get red JBA UCA's, the thing is, will they squeak? I heard aftermarket UCA's can get squeaky. edit: this answer was for OP but I still want to ask

Ok, been looking a bit more since this is an expensive decision. Any input on 16 vs 17 inch wheels? I was thinking I want 16 cause I like more tire for aesthetic reasons, but the 17s in 285 seem more common. It's that for good reason?

I do plan on buying new UCAs with the lift

Thanks for all the input so far guys, I really appreciate it!

I was thinking about 285/70/r17, but I still went with 16's, Nitto ridge grapplers, toyo open country r/t, and others have 285/75/r16.

Getting a better aspect ratio is worth it imo

Thanks for the confirmation, definitely want to go with 16s.

Guess I'll just need to order the wheels and tires from different places and have them installed locally.

Now just need to decide Falkens or Toyo. I do want the snow rating as I live in Seattle and will be driving up in the mountains often.

The hard part with any tire right now is availability. Toyo/Nitto are on backorder for the most part. I can check stock tomorrow.

So many things are on backorder now! Why has covid caused us to spend more money?! Haha

Of course I know it's also reduced manufacturing capabilities, just whining lol

But in all reality I'm probably going with the Falkens and they seem to be available so that's good

I have -10 offset w/ 265/75-16's and jba uca's. I went with -10 so I can go up to a 11.5" wide tire as that's the most I plan to go. Not much poke as well. My jba's don't squeak.

After much inner debate, I went with 285/70/17's. I'm in Florida, so my offroading is mainly fire trails, and backwoods, so I just did some minimal trimming so far. I'm going to do the CMC at some point, but so far I only rub the cab mount when the wheels are turned, and I hit a deep bump.
