    Around 10-15 years ago I noticed that the passenger side front amber running light (the one below the bumper) was loose. The driver side lamp fixture is good and tight. I crawled underneath and removed the lamp assembly but could not find anything wrong with it. Both screw/fasteners looked okay so I put it all back together. Is there anything else I could check, or anything else that could break or make it loose?

    You noticed / attempted the repair 10-15 years ago and you're asking now?
    I'd start by comparing with the driver side mounting and see what's different.

    I posted something about the problem 10-15 years ago but have not yet found that post.

    You're right, of course, I should compare the two assemblies. Just thought somebody else might have had the same problem and was able to fix it.

    Ya replaced mine too, little plastic clip like 6 bucks at toyota dealer. Heres a part number on an ebay listing for ya so they know what you need, the driver side has a different part number than the passenger side. Now mind you, I believe this is for the top tab retainer on the side light itself. If the bottom tab is broken, you might need a new side marker because that goes into the body. Install is really easy. Part number for pass side is 5313704010

    I skipped buying plastic clips and bought new slightly shorter screws and a large washer to hold the light in the plastic valence.

    Thank you for the link, but I'm afraid that the part shown in the preceding link is for the upper light (next to the headlight) and not the part that I need.

    I'm talking about the rectangular orange light that's in the chrome part of the bumper.

    The lights below the bumper are the turn signals.

    The turn signals on my 2004 were always loose too. For a while I'd just shove some card board or something in there so it wouldn't rattle around.

    Eventually I found a more permanent solution::D

    Oh that bumper is awesome lookin.

    Dam I knew once i left this thread I seen turn signal and I knew i f'd up. You know how long I searched for that part number when I was lookin like 2 months ago for that damn part.

    On the turn signal, I wrapped mine in electrical tape to stiffen up the resistance and pushed it in there like a drunk douchebag after the strip club but, I still found the hole and it didnt pull out.
