Loss of HVAC controls

    Turned the truck on and had lost all hvac controls. This included seat heaters and window defrosters. The temperature gauge also showed E. Didn't see anything obvious like a blown fuse. Anyone else seen this?

    That's what I thought, until I pulled them all and they were fine.

    Interesting. The additional symptom of an error readout instead of the ambient temp on the combination meter seems to support the Air Conditioning Amp or it's power source as the culprit:

    MPX-B is the back-up power fuse
    IG1 NO.2 is the A/C amplifier fuse
    ECU-IG NO.2 is the control panel fuse

    LIN communication...
