ok, ive been emailing lowrange... they may help me out. i may also just put shallower nuts on my ubolts when i install the aal. ill ffigure something out tho for sure. kinda dissappointed all pro who i bout the flip kit from doesnt have longer ones... oh well. i really like the crazy long ones that you trim to size once installed. those are the shit. too bad they are hard to find

    haha, nice!

Gotta quick question for you concerning working on a 3VZ. I'm going to be doing the timing belt, water pump, front crankshaft seal, etc. job in a couple weeks. Do you suggest pulling the radiator? I've seen accounts of people doing it both ways and wanted to ask your opinion.

since its your first one, yes. its only 4 more bolts. when u have it out. run a hose through the fins from the back to the front. and get all the crud out of it. youll be amazed how much stuff gets stuck in the fins and reduces cooling ability. also if u do all the seals, throw cam seals in as well. and do a tstat w/ your water pump

just a heads up i got mine custom made at:
Midwest Truck Parts & Services, 5075 Cook St, Denver, CO 80216
they do it while you wait and can cut them to fit around any axle and use any diameter bolt you want.....just something to look into if you dont want to hassle with shipping and and all that shit

    Thanks!

Yeah, I'm planning to do the cam seals as well since once I'm in there, it's only another two bolts and $8 for parts. I appreciate the input!

I liked the idea of just welding a couple studs to some plates and welding that to the bed. Might have to do that myself actually

Yea I would attach directly to the rail either. Too thin. And just rip off.

Needs tied into the bed somehow.

i got an idea from one of the other members that posted in the first gen thread. two vertical supports form the bed to the rail and mount the highlift on the supports. itll work nicely:)

thanks man! and likewise about your build

I like that idea of a support from bed to rail and mounting that way. Was also thinking of the hilift mounts through the bed side, and weight of hilift resting on the wheel well. What shocks are you going with for rear?

Btw, you're gonna love the d6xl, so much better. Box convinced me to do it, so glad I did.
