Hey Jace I have some steel laying around the house. If you make a template Im pretty sure I can fab something up for ya. I also have a sheet metal break so I'll be able to bend it if need be. The offer is there hit me up if interested.

Yeah I was looking into that and the only thing I seen is an FJ set up that uses a parking brake with an disc brake set up. But I'm still searching to see how I can fab and convert.

ok well fixed the brakes! took my rear completely apart. shoes and all. sanded the shoes, turned the drums, removed bellcrank and all linkage, dropped the rear cable down about an inch near the fuel tank. made new brackets for the backing plate levers to raise the cable off the leaf pack. made a bracket for the cable guide. and cleaned and lubricated the axle pivot as well. adjusted it all and bam! i have brakes again! and now pics! hats off to the guy in that ink above. good idea, worked like a charm.

 

and mounted my cb aux. speaker! may or may not have gotten the idea from Jason

thanks man^ pita, lots of cutting and measuring and drilling. but came out pretty sweet. once u go over 3 inches of lift on the rear of these trucks, the ebrake is a b***h to work with
